Event and Alert Management
Responsibility:
- Experience getting system information with SNMP traps and gets
- Experience with Windows WMI and how to query for monitor information
- Experience with collecting all events, setting up triage teams to review the events, work with product owners to determine which event needs to be an alert
- Work with product owners and stakeholders understanding the alert, impact priority, and remediation items
- Experience with an event management tool, like solarwinds and service now.
- Experience operating in a NOC or other monitoring eco-systems
Event and Alert Management
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, math or a similar field.
- At least 1+ years of experience in the field of Azure cloud computing.
- Experience with the Windows and Linux/UNIX/Windows operating system.
- Azure certifications preferred.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with one or more of the following: Terraform, ansible, python, packer, bsh, and/or powershell
- Works independently and collaborates well with others
