Azure Software Infrastructure as Code Engineer
Responsibility:
- Work in an azure devops setting using scrum.
- Work with teams in different locations. Fluent with reading, writing and speaking English
- Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud automation solutions.
- Review requirements, design code, develop, unit test, assist with QA testing, debug and remediate issues, and maintain code.
- Ability to check in/out code using various source code systems.
- Identifying and using appropriate cloud services to support applications in the cloud
- Good understanding of Azure, Azure resources and services. Automate the creation, upgrading, and deletion of these resources also known as Infrastructure as Code.
- Debugging applications using Azure tools.
- Modifying and improving existing systems.
- Ability to read IaC requirements and understand what is needed to automate.
- Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
- Experience developing unit and QA testing scripts.
- Strategizing a recovery plan to compensate for possible downtime or failure scenarios
- Good understanding of Azure networks, servers, storage, access, and services, to configure, customize and automate.
Azure Software Infrastructure as Code Engineer
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, math or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of Azure cloud computing.
- Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Scrum lifecycle or similar methodologies.
- Experience with the Windows and Linux/UNIX/Windows operating system.
- Azure certifications preferred.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with one or more of the following: Terraform, ansible, python, packer, bsh, and/or powershell
- Works independently and collaborates well with others
